Nike Air Force 1 Low - Nike Music Box 25th Anniversary

via KATC

Following up on our [KATC Video Feature with Uncle Ralph McDaniels], we take an in depth look at the "Video Music Box 25th Anniversary Nike Air Force 1 Low. Designed by DJ Clark Kent to pay homage to the Video Music Box and to celebrate the pioneering program's 25th Anniversary, the "Video Music Box 25th Anniversary" Nike Air Force 1 Low started out first as a practical piece of footwear that DJ Clark Kent designed to allow the sneaker to be worn across several occasions from Black Tie affairs to chillin on the corner. After creating the upper of Black Leather/Black Nubuck/Black Patent upper and Silver Swoosh, DJCK sought to immortalize the Video Music Box and it's 25th Anniversary by adding several VMB/Uncle Ralph personalization hits, including:
-Video Music Box lasered on the midsole of each sneaker-"The Box That Rocks" Video Music Box slogan in Reflecting 3M along the heel of each sneaker-An embossed "24" on the heel tab of the right sneaker-The original Video Music Box logo emblazoned on the heel tab of the left sneaker
-A TV color bar insole with a personal message for Uncle Ralph reading "Thank You For Being The First Uncle Ralph"
Twenty Five pairs of the "Video Music Box 25th Anniversary" Nike Air Force 1 Low were created and given exclusively to Uncle Ralph to give to his closest friends and family and to those who have been instrumental in the Video Music Box's 25 year history.
